Across Nanaimo and Ladysmith schools, there are projects and learning opportunities that go beyond what school budgets can typically support. Learning initiatives and grants help fund those opportunities, including student leadership projects, classroom resources, special learning experiences, and music programs.
That can look like a leadership initiative, a community-focused project, access to supplies for hands-on learning, or instruments for students when budgets are tight. When those opportunities are there, students can take part more fully, explore new interests, and feel more connected to their learning and their school community.
