In this case, it all came down to colour.

When you intentionally build a brand that reflects who your company is at its core, it starts to influence how your teams show up and how you signal your values to the job market.

Take @dmclcpallp for example. We created a brand that’s bold enough to stand out in an industry not exactly known for creativity, and cohesive enough to give everyone under the DMCL umbrella a genuine sense of belonging.

This project was all about helping MIC step confidently into the commercial space with a presence that reflects the scale and quality of their work.

It buys time.

Time to study instead of working a double shift.
Time to focus instead of stressing about rent.
Time to just be a student.

Last night our team attended the Nanaimo-Ladysmith Schools Foundation’s Sponsor Event, we were reminded that every dollar carries the care, intention, and belief in a student’s future. It makes “imagine what’s possible” a reality for many. 

This past year, contributions gave over $80K to individual students who requested school supplies and over 450K in scholarships and bursaries were awarded. 

Programs like Food4Schools were able to provide over 115,000 meals to hungry kids and $300K in groceries to schools across the district. 

A big thank you to @n.l.s.f and all the amazing speakers who shared their stories of success (including MLA, @georgeandersonbc !)

We’re proud to support NLSF through brand, messaging, and now their website helping share stories like these and the impact behind them.

We recently won a gold @museaward for redesigning and redevelopping the @mycvrd website into a clear and accessible web experience.

As part of the redesign, we expanded the CVRD brand into a cohesive digital design system including custom graphic elements and an accessible colour palette that meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) AAA standards.

The goal was to make content clearer, easier to scan, and easier to navigate for residents across the region.
